Tiffany Newhouse

Tiffany Newhouse is a visionary leader, executive consultant, and transformational change expert with 25 years of experience driving business excellence, strategic partnerships, and workforce development across multiple industries. As the Chief Partnership Officer for ProjectHBCU (Helping Beautiful Children Unite), Tiffany leverages her vast expertise in organizational development, leadership strategy, and change management to forge impactful collaborations that expand opportunities for students pursuing Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

Before founding Newhouse Project Consulting, Tiffany held executive roles at Fortune 100 companies, including Microsoft, where she made history as one of the first and youngest Black executive leaders, serving as Senior Director of Global Business Excellence. She has also led major initiatives at Genentech Inc., ChevronTexaco, Kaiser Permanente, and Pacific Gas & Electric. Known for her ability to bridge gaps between organizations, labor unions, and stakeholders, Tiffany is committed to helping ProjectHBCU strengthen partnerships, increase access to resources, and drive systemic change. Her mission is to empower students, dismantle barriers, and create lasting opportunities through strategic collaboration and transformational leadership.

Calvin Bell

Calvin Bell is a scholar, strategist, and advocate dedicated to advancing educational access and equity through organizational development and policy-driven change. As the Organizational Advancement Chair of ProjectHBCU (Helping Beautiful Children Unite), Calvin leverages his expertise in philosophy, legal theory, and social justice to strengthen the organization’s infrastructure, expand its reach, and enhance its impact on students navigating the path to and through college.

A Beinecke Scholar and first-year Ph.D. student in Philosophy at Northwestern University, Calvin’s research focuses on criminal justice, critical race theory, eminent domain, and environmental justice. His interdisciplinary approach bridges philosophy, political theory, and legal studies, positioning him as a thought leader in education and public policy. A summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Morehouse College, Calvin is deeply committed to fostering intellectual growth, shaping policy, and creating systemic change. Through ProjectHBCU, he works to advance strategic initiatives, cultivate leadership opportunities, and ensure that Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) remain at the forefront of academic excellence and social progress.
